order to register for the New Teacher Academy and the Strategic Booster Institute
The New Teacher Academy was created specifically for educators who are beginning their careers or have been teaching for fewer than three years. This full-day experience will provide practical guidance, foundational knowledge, and confidence-building tools to help new directors start strong and thrive in their first years in the classroom.
WHO: First year teachers or teachers in their first 3 years of teaching
WHEN: Thursday, July 16 – 8:00am – 5:30pm
PRICE: First year teachers – $22.50. Beyond first year – $25.00
The Strategic Booster Institute will help strengthen the support systems behind successful choir programs. For a small fee, all of your booster club parents can attend and learn how to maximize their resources, operate effectively, and lead other parents in meaningful support of your choir and its mission.
WHO: Those affiliated with a booster club or interested in starting one
WHEN: Saturday, July 18 – 8:00am – 4:30pm
PRICE: $100 and all of your booster members can attend
Elementary Friday The majority of the elementary sessions will take place on Friday, recognizing that elementary budgets are often more limited than those of otherdivisions. Join us for a full day of meaningful professional development and valuable networking with colleagues who share your passion for elementary choral music.
Don’t miss our dynamic Mini-Clinics, offered in the exhibit hall and designed to cater to all divisions. These sessions are short and sweet—but powerful—delivering practical ideas you can take straight back to your classroom.
